3 cups of water
1 thinly sliced medium carrot
1 -2 mushrooms (button, shitaki or portabella), thinly sliced
1/2 pack of white shirataki noodles, rinsed well and drained
1/2 lbs of imitation crab flakes
1 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp miso soup concentrate
1 tsp dry chicken stock
water chestnut, canned, drained (not required)
Few leaves of Thai basil
Stick of lemongrass
Schezwan pepper – several berries, crashed
salt – to taste
Bring water to boil, add carrots, mushrooms, lemongrass, peppper, tamari, miso, chicken stock, adjust seasoning.
When carrots start turning softer, add noodles, then water chestnut, bring back to boil, then add imitation crab flakes and Thai basil, back to boil, and remove from the heat.
